A close friend and playing partner is Seattle drum legend Greg Keplinger (www.greggkeplinger.com). His is a musical practice characterized by great skill, passion and creativity. He is also a master drum maker In 2005 we assembled some of Seattle's finest in the recording studio and asked them to play without any reference to a score, pre-generated idea or even what was played before them. With the keen assistance of engineer Don Gunn, we (well, mostly Greg with my input) put together the pieces that formed our CD Release: Absurd World Country. Currently we are working with a beautiful bassist Dan O'Brien (www.obrienbass.net).
